In took me a year to finally splurge into Lorac Pro Palette. I was hesitant at first, thinking that it may not be worth the money since I do not wear eyeshadow everyday. 

Well, I guess I'm wrong.

I only wear eyeshadows on special days, occasions and events but not during school days. However, Lorac Pro Palette was just so good I cant stop using it!

From day to night looks, this palette provides everything you need to achieve that eye makeup like a pro. Appropriate selection of color combination and proper blending could also be a factor.  

( I Used Slate, Champagne, Espresso and Nude) 

The color combinations are great, perfect mixture of matte and shimmer to balance out each other, and all of the shades are highly pigmented. However, they are a little bit powdery, have some fall outs so tapping off the excess can be of great help to prevent it. Also, the palette is very lightweight, though its kinda bulky to bring everyday. 

Overall, even though the price is steep I do not regret buying this. This is worth the money and it also contains a lot of product inside that would last up to years! Hehe

A good lip color for me is in synergy with longevity, and OCC LIP TAR CAN GIVE ME THAT. (capslock for emphasis). I own a lot of lipsticks and none of them performs well enough than my OCC Lip tars.

When I first got it, I was a little shocked of how little the tubes were. Not knowingly, I immediately squeezed the product, and oh hell the product is oozing with pigments! I should say, they are heavily pigmented! Just a tiny winy size does the job on my lips. 

Aside from its heavenly- pigments, I could not ask for more in terms of longevity. I like to use anime in 2 coats then I'll blot after then apply another coat.  That way, it stays on me even after eating or drinking. Even after I ate that unforgiving oily meal I had, the stain was still there. However its not the same vibrancy as to the first application but the point is the color is still emphasized! Woohoo Finally found the lip stain that would last! 

The set comes in 4 Matte Shades: 

1. Black Dahlia - Blackend Red

2. Anime- Neon Pink

3. NSFW- Balanced red

4. Memento-pink/plum neutral

NSFW - A beautiful classic red, that kind of red that superstars wear on redcarpets. 

BLACk DAHLIA- Looks black on tube, however once being applied, the color is completely different. A dark, plum with slight redness and fuchsia. 

ANIME- A very loud color, gives that hot pink lips that would surely turn heads! 

MEMENTO- you can never go wrong with this shade, from heavily dramatic eyes down to a simple one, memento would look perfectly great! A subtle neutral pink and some plum to it. 

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation NC 30

This has always been on my wishlist for so long and when I saw it at a Christmas Bazaar at Davcon, I couldnt resist the temptation of getting it! I forgot the name of the store but they have an outlet somewhere in Davao Doc. 

DESCRIPTION:

A one-step powder and foundation that provides a smooth, flawless, all-matte, full-coverage finish. Long-wearing, velvety texture allows skin to breathe. Available in a wide range of colours. 

There are lots of ways to apply this product. you can either use the sponge provided or a powder brush. Personally, I like to damp my brush because it gives me a full-coverage. The powder is so fine and velvety in texture. It does not cake nor does it looks like I've been slapped with foundation. It looks natural but not barely-there natural. It looks beautiful even in the harsh daylight! Pores are gone, and I dont have to re-apply that much because it stays on place!! It also controls the shine I have on my face. 

I really fell in love with this. It is perfect for everyday use not until it gave me pimples!! 

I hate to say this but even though it gives that nicest flawless natural look, it broke me out! I had to stop using it everyday and would only use it on special occasions. 

Cheeky Glow!

PRODUCT: MAYBELLINE CHEEKY GLOW IN WOODEN ROSE

Cheeks that glow. That is what Maybelline's Cheeky Glow blushes claims. This is perfect as an everyday blush, provides a natural-looking glow and flush to the cheeks. The shade I have is an array of colors with peach, light pink and gold. The shimmering gold glitters is what I am really fond of. It does not really show off, but actually helps on brightening up the face a little bit. 

Great color-payoff but does not stay longer than I expected. You may need to retouch. Also the packaging is so fragile, the cheap plastic used is very prone to breakage so you really have to be careful not to drop it. 

Top drugstore eyeliner finds!

Here are some of my trusty budget-friendly finds that almost work well just like the other "expensive" ones. 

Makeup doesn't have to be unreasonably expensive. I don't see the point of spending over a basic liner for one thousand pesos!  I mean, that's just too much for me, really. So I explored and hunted the drugstore beauty section and came up with these finds!! 

1.) MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO LASTING DRAMA GEL LINER in black (400Php)

This is probably the best eyeliner product that I have. It does not smudge, nor does it transfer to my upper lid. It is decently long wearing and reasonably priced.   This is really a great eyeliner! Comes in a glass wide-mouth jar with a brush that works perfectly. The color is very VIVID, an intense pitch black! The product itself is very creamy and applies very easily. It does not crease, nor does it gave me that weird panda eyes. Even when the temperature here is really unforgiving, my eyeliner is still intact! Amaze-balls! 

2.) LA GIRL GEL LINER ( 249.75)

This doubles up as a browliner and eyeliner as well. Has the same consistency with Maybelline Gel Liner but less long wearing and smudges under excessive heat and sweat. Nevertheless, this is still a great product, just make sure not to use this when you're about to go out on a really really hot sunny day.

3. REVLON (Sale Price: 250Php) 

I got this for 250Php when revlon had their sale few months back but originally priced at 499Php This is an eyeliner crayon, very creamy and application is fast and easy. You'll get that perfect lined eyes in no time. 

At first, I honestly think this is not longwearing and would just glide off my lids during hot afternoons because of its very creamy consistency, But to my surprise, it does not melt, nor fades or smudges! Woohoo!
