Lisa Eldridge had highly influenced me of my makeup philosophy. One of which is highlighter. I once hated highlighters because I thought they would  be too shimmery for my taste, and  would just gave me that oily sheen. Not until Ive been watching videos of her, she never skips on putting her highlighter ( her favorite one is Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector; which is out of my reach). It does gave her that nice healthy glow, so natural looking sheen as if it comes from the inside.

From The very first time I swatched its tester, I knew I have to buy it. 

The first and the only highlighter that I own, I believe this does a pretty good job. I actually really  like it Been using this everyday. It blends smoothly, best to use a brush for an even seemless finish.

Its not too liquidy nor creamy, its something in between. Comes with a dipping applicator which eases the application process. 

It looks pink on tube and when unblended but when already spread over and evenly applied, it disappears into the skin and you wouldnt even notice its there. But when subjected into light, it would suddenly give you that magical not too-shimmering glow. It is really great in pictures. 

For me, I like to put this only on the top of my cheekbones. I find this rather too unnatural when put on the forehead or in my nose, it gave me that overly shimmered look which I really don't like. 

Longevity is beyond average, it lasted the whole day which is ahhhhmaaazing! 

Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. This gave me the opportunity of exploring the world of highlighters! I am very impressed with its performance and I would gladly try more highlighters especially from the prominent top rated Benefit's  High Beam!!

I honestly can go out without my foundation or concealer on but never my eyebrows undone (and ofcourse lipstick!!) My face right now is not that horrible compared to  last few months' nightmare (thanks to Vmv) when my face was full of pimples and some awful dark spots. When I'm feeling lazy, I'll just grab my eyebrow mascara and I'm good to go.  But for days when I want a full makeup on, I always start outlining my brows with a pencil then brush the mascara over.

I have used Etude House Color My brows for years, it is actually a  great product but it is not long-wearing. I keep on coming back to it given the reasonable price. 

During the days when I really feel very very lazy, this is my bestfriend! My HG Eyebrow Mascara!! 

Fast and easy application, you'll just brush it over and you'll be able to get that well defined brows in no time!  It is highly pigmented,  a light hand would do its job perfectly. Color payoff is great. Chestnut brown without any weird-looking shimmers on it. 

But what made me really love this even more is its longevity. Even when I'm sweating, even when the weather is so unforgiving, it is still intact. It is not fading nor melting, the stain is in place.  It does not come off with just plain water so have to remove it by cream or oil. 

The only downside for this is you really have to be careful on putting it so, because you dont want to have that betty la fea brows, do you? (HAHA) The first time I used it, I put a hell lot of product, so yeah you really have to be careful and make sure that the brush has just the right amount of product. Brush it at the back of your hand to get rid of excess product.

A red lipstick does not only come with a single color, there are myriads of variations of tones and colors from orangeys to purplish, bluish and true reds. I personally like the blue toned ones since the color pops out on my NC 30 Skin. 

 I got this from my beloved cousin. Its her birthday gift to me ( Lucky me haha) 

I am honestly afraid of using liquid lipsticks because for me they have sheer-medium coverage and would easily be rubbed off on lips. Well, not with Lip Lacquer over here. 

It is crazily heavily pigmented, its like a paint! Seriously, even when swatched lightly, the color is so rich and vibrant as what you can see on the swatch above.  I had used a single swipe with just a light hand to that! Wow! 

This is a blue toned dark red with tiny glitters but is not noticeable once applied on lips. It would not look flat on lips because it has that microglitters packed on it. Aside from its crazily hardcore pigmentation, this would literally last long!! This gives me that beautiful stain, even after eating it stays on place. Does not smudge nor does it bleed. Amaaaaazing product! 

I do love that it doesnt dries up my lips. Its quiet heavy on lips, I even feel I've got a lip plumper on when I'm using this. It also creates a beautiful stain on my lips which is really difficult to remove. It has an amazing staying power, I am so amazed with its staying power. 

Careline Oil Control Blush-On

A healthy glow is all I need, especially during those unforgiving days and nights where I lack sleep and rest. I haven't been sleeping lately and my face look so dull, gloomy and very tired.  I looked to my makeupstash and found this, MY GOOD old Favorite Blush-on. Havent used this for not so long because I was mesmerized by ELF STA. Lucia's Blush. 

Careline offers wide variety of products that are affordable and trendy. Among all the products they have, their blushes are my super favorites! I didn't liked their lipsticks that much same with their complexion products. But their blushes are superb! 

FACE WITHOUT THE BLUSH ON:

My favorite shade and the one I've been using everyday is Rosy Cheek. I'm an NC30 and this just suits my skintone perfectly. Rosy Cheek is a reddish pink powder that has a matte finish. I like the red hints it has but not too overpowering that when you wear it you would looked like a clown. It is very easy to blend,  a little goes a long way since it is very pigmented. I apply this using my ELF Powder Brush and it just gives me that blooming look that I want. 

This is suitable for Filipina Skin tones. 

But the only downside with this is it is not longwearing. After an hour or two I can already see the color is fading and oil is starting to build up. However, I really dont mind touching up and applying another layer. Its just that I really like the color and its texture. 

Revlon Colorstay Makeup For Combination/Oily Skin

I could never express how I am deeply in love with Revlon Colorstay Makeup For Combination/Oily Skin. Not only because it is affordable, quality-wise can be comparable with Estee Lauder's which is thrice the price of Revlon's. 

You might have read tons of beauty bloggers loving it and raving it, even some prominent professional makeup artists on youtube like Lisa Eldridge and Pixi woo sisters even recommend this product. 

My skin's quiet acidic so I had chosen a shade lighter than my skin tone which is Natural Beige. Natural Beige has pink undertones; Golden Beige has Yellow tones but is really dark on me. 

Revlon Colorstay Makeup has liquid consistency that has a low viscosity that explains why it is readily poured from the container. 

The major downside for this foundation is its packaging, the first time I used it I poured a hell lot of product onto the back of my hand blaming to its lack of pump or nozzle to control the amount of product to be dispensed. You really have to be very careful or you might end up wasting almost a quarter of the liquid! Plus the opening is too big!

 Once applied, you would be amazed on how much coverage it gives but not too intense or should I say not too made-up. It just blends smoothly without giving you that cakey- annoying look. I still do my concealing after. It dries quickly so you better be fast on blending. For me, I like to use my fingers in blending, I find it the  best way to do it since I kinda feel the heat of my fingers help in warming the foundation for better blending and evening on the skin. 

In contrast to its claims, the finish on me is not matte, but rather semi-matte. It's not dewy but also not matte, its just in between. The longevity of this product is superb. Even when I'm sweating hard due to the intense heat, my foundation is not melting. Some of my  foundations do. I also find it hard to remove, I always use my oil-based Makeup remover to remove it. 

It has some cosmetic scent to it,probably some kind of the scent my mom's makeup have way back then. Some good old cosmetics.
